Afghan Orphans Project
Victory Lap, December 18, 2002
December 18th was the last 2002 weekly meeting for the Rock Valley Kiwanis Club. Our 90-day Project to support Afghan Orphans was within two weeks of completion, and we had collected over $8,500 for the project and seen over 125 boxes of supplies dispatched to Afghanistan. In view of our success, we had our weekly breakfast meeting in an 18-passenger Hummer Limo provided by Buff Blackler. Thanks Buff!
